Why Not?

So to catch up on life:

Emma’s coming this Saturday, she lands in Richmond around 6 or 6:30. I don’t know exactly because her itinerary is behind my bed right now. I am really really excited, I have been working my ass off all semester to so that I do not have to work much when she is here. I can’t wait just to show her what goes on in my life here and just do nothing but spend time with her. It’s going to be amazing.

I took an internship for the summer with QSS Group. Apparently i am a “Programmer Analyst I.” This is going to be amazing, i am actually going to be doing things where i deal with software engineering. The one thing that sucks is that this would have been my last year at camp. I love that place to death, it made me who i am today, but because I am going to be an RA next semester, I can only be there till August 5. With the internship, i will be getting paid A LOT more, and it fits perfectly to when I have to be back at school, as well as open doors up for future internships. These were all the stipulations i needed for me not to work at camp.

One major sad thing is that i wont see Bridget pretty much at all. She really is my best friend, and because of that, i know that she is going to be in my life forever. In some ways, because i know this, it doesn’t bother me too much.

So i have decided that when i EVENTUALLY find time, and before my internship, I am going to finally read the rest of the C++ book i got during senior year. I have been inspired by the guys in the VT gaming project to improve my skills. It is just so hard finding time for it though.
